Not scared? we'll try harder then


IF A theme park ride isn’t scary enough for you, it could soon be cranked up a notch, according to Brendan Walker, curator of the Thrill Laboratory exhibit, which opens at London’s Science Museum on 17 October. Volunteers will be hooked up to an accelerometer to measure the g-forces acting on them and an ECG to measure their pulse, while a helmet-mounted camera will film their facial expressions. Data from these sensors will be beamed wirelessly for analysis as the volunteers are hurled around the rides,
